Why Nothing?

Expect nothing. Accept nothing. Except Nothing.

Mystics and Atheists believe in the same thing - they just spell it differently: Nothing and nothing.

I am neither a mystic nor an atheist, although I do want to explore the exhaustive space between these two words. One inspires us to believe in the infinite nature of our consciousness - the other pushes us towards an ever growing and terrifying sense of nihilism among both the young and older generations.

Between these two extremes, I believe, are answers to questions I grapple with. I can't articulate these questions, precisely. What I do know is that on most days I wake up with a gnawing feeling of something missing — missing something I left behind or missing something I am yet to experience ; I am unsure. As I look for those missing pieces - I finally feel ready to share my progress, even though I am not sure where this will lead.

For the foreseeable future, the three topics I will explore are Myths, Movies and Meaning - and any freewheeling and yet incomplete thoughts I might have; maybe you will complete them.

Thank you.
